
Artist Jared Ailstock lives and works in New York. He has exhibited his work worldwide, in museums and galleries, including in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. After thirty years of painting, he became a prominent figurative painter when painting was out of fashion among artists in that period. With his series of paintings about cosmetic surgery, Jared Ailstok explores both traditional and experimental themes. The portraits of Alistock also express wider concepts and the theme of the narrative.
The New York Art Gallery held a mid-career retrospective for Jared Ailstock. He first experimented with self-portraits using 3D printing and scanning in 2017.
